The Village Where Nothing Happened

Lyrics of a  Song I used to listen to about B52 carpet bombings on a Village in Afghanistan “Kama Ado”, very much related to whats happening now in Syria, how they bomb any civilian places, markets & Hospitals, and then come on the Media saying “Nothing happened”

—————
“The Village Where Nothing Happened”
The Army commander spooke to the media

He said, “This is a nation of laws

“We do not target civilians

“And we only bomb with cause”

And he said as he looked into the camera

With a cold, bone-chilling stare

“As for the village of Kama Ado

“Nothing happened there”
In the village where nothing happened

Most people had risen from bed

Women were preparing to cook

And make sure every mouth would be fed

Just before the beginning of Ramadan

Water was set out to boil

Little fires were heating tin kettles

Upon the dry Afghan soil
In the village where nothing happened

Children played in the street

Men were bending in prayer

Some with no shoes on their feet

It was another day like so many

That had gone down before

And nobody told Kama Ado

Just what lay in store
In the village where nothing happened

Nobody knew

That this place would be changed forever

By an American B-52

The bombs fell all around them

So many a deafening blast

And the people of Kama Ado

Learned that life can end so fast
In the village where nothing happened

The houses collapsed in the morn

Not one terrorist died there

But maybe some were born

In the village of Kama Ado

There are no underground caves

There’s just rubble and dust and craters

And 115 new graves.

“Voices were raised in crying, and it became so loud that even the smart one would think that the whole world was screaming in a single voice. The people were so overwhelmed that some of them were distracted from praying over him. People expressed their remorse at his passing – including the Crusaders, due to how truthful and trustworthy he was”

“And I never saw a king, by whose death, people were so sad. This is because he was loved by everyone. He was loved by the righteous and the wicked, the Muslim and the kafir”
This was Salahudheen Ayyubi(رحمه الله). This was his lifestyle and character, and it was nothing other than this that served as the platform for the amazing victories across the lands that we remember him for today.

Whoever is tested with self-admiration, let him think of his faults; if he admires his virtues, let him think of his bad manners and attitude. If he cannot find any, to the point that he thinks that he has no faults, then he should realise that his problem is chronic and that he is the most imperfect of men, and he has the most faults and least discernment. That is because he is feeble-minded and ignorant, and there is no fault worse than these two, because the wise man is the one who can see faults in himself and tries to overcome them, whereas the foolish man is the one who is ignorant of his own faults.

Don’t invalidate people’s struggles because you’ve been through worse. If someone is tired after working for 5 hours and you worked for 7, it doesn’t mean that they’re not allowed to be tired. It doesn’t mean they can’t feel what they’re feeling just because you’ve had it worse.

ولا ترج عمل اليوم إلى غد *** لعل غدا يأتي وأنت فقيــــــد
And do not delay the deeds of today till tomorrow *** For tomorrow might come when you are gone.

Any Fighting…!

” Any fighting done for the sake of inflicting injury upon the enemies of Allāh is a righteous, legislated act, even if it brings about nothing more than inflicting this injury, angering the enemy, causing them harm, terrorizing them, repelling their harm from the Muslims, rescuing the weak and oppressed from them, or freeing captives, and even if it does not directly lead to consolidating the Muslims in the land.”
